I’m hanging my head as I type this. Looking back through the archives, the last time I was organized enough to do an outfit recap post was back in August. The last two months have literally flown by in a flurry of packing tape and wardrobe purges. Despite that, I did sneak in some lovely looks that I’m rather fond of. Hey, what can I say. I work best under pressure…
So, if you’ll indulge me, I’ve decided to do an outfit roundup for both September and October. It’s actually hard to believe some of these looks were worn only 1-2 months ago. They feel a world away (in my case, quite literally). But looking back always has the added bonus of seeing how far you can come in just a few short months.
So, here’s a roundup of my outfit favorites from September and October. Let’s just call it Septober. For full outfit details, feel free to check out the original blog post.
September
How did it get so late so soon?
Its night before its afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

October
Now that November has arrived and the majority of the madness is behind us (famous last words), I’m excited about a few new things coming to the blog. I’ve had a lot of requests for more tutorial-type posts – from organization to restoration. In particular, I get a lot of questions surrounding how to clean and care for vintage. I plan to put together a dedicated cleaning/mending/steaming post soon. With all that we invest in our wardrobes, it’s important to look after it properly!
As we’re in the process of looking for our next home, I realize it’s also great opportunity to share with you guys how I organize my closet from the ground up! Though it’s not my top priority when choosing a home, an ideal space to turn into the dream walk-in wardrobe-meets-sewing-space is pretty high up there when determining whether or not a house will work for us (and yes, my husband rocks). As my last space was a bit cramped, with sewing relegated to the dining room table, I’m really excited to get my creative juices flowing and come up with the perfect sartorial sanctuary.
