Guess what folks, my birthday is just around the corner! Okay, it’s really over a month away, but because my family has to contend with overseas shipping times, this is the time of year when I start to put thought into my birthday wants. Not to mention that Valentine’s Day in in just a few weeks. Both of those concepts natural lend themselves to endless web browsing and wishlist creation!
So, this month’s Lust List features everything perfect for a birthday fete or a dinner out with a loved one, or are simply things I wish would make their way into my closet this year! Let’s face it, Valentine’s Day can (and should!) be about loving yourself too. With some heart shaped confetti, here’s a roundup of the latest pretties that I’ve got my eye on:
For the Home
I love things with hidden surprises…and the fact that the floral design is on the inside of these teacups makes me want to throw a tea party pronto!
After a night out, there’s nothing I like better than curling up with a good book. This mouse bookmark is too charming for words…
By now my love of cloud-shaped things should come as no surprise. And look! Clouds in luscious handmade soap form! Perfect to ensure a refreshing morning after a fabulous night of dancing.
Umm…because…TOAST PLATE! To serve my party guests toast. Nuff’ said.
I absolutely love this wall decal – what an easy way to add drama to a feature wall!
For My Birthday Fete
Hot pink and ready for love! What better dress can there be for Valentine’s Day than a 1950’s vintage chiffon dream dress?
I’ve had my eye on this dress for ever. The border print, the sheer sleeves – so classic and romantic!
This coat and dress set stops my heart…
I know Valentine’s dresses are typically pink or red – I want to break tradition with this emerald floral beauty! (and she’s on sale – swoon!)
The bold print on this 1950’s leaf print dress are amazing.
The embroidery on the bodice makes this the perfect frock for an afternoon lovers stroll with the Mr…
GAH! That PRINT! The perfect garden party dress…
The dainty floral print on this dress is too cute for words and I love the unique color combo.
Counting the days until this cutie comes in stock!
The colors on this dress are so crisp and vibrant – perfect for a seaside soiree.
I love a unique mix of prints – a plaid & floral border print skirt? I’m sold!
Are those strawberries and PEA PODS? This may be the cutest cardigan I ever did see!
For Some Arm Candy
I adore this little metal cage purse – with just enough to give you only a peek at the contents inside.
I adore everything about this vintage heart-shaped train case.
What better bag could there possibly be on my birthday?
The decoupage on this bag is so so beautiful…and it just wouldn’t be my birthday wishlist without one seaside-themed item!
Raise your hand if you think I need a pancake purse for my birthday! With a pat of butter and everything… (please tell me there’s a sea of hands in the air…)
Can you ever have too many heart bags? I think not…
I love everything about this bag (but think I love the velvet bumble bee the most!)
To Keep My Feet Happy
It’s my party and I’ll dance if I want to…all night in these shoes, that is…
The Icing on the Cake
There is something so hauntingly beautiful about this necklace.
Hello? It’s this vintage brooch calling. It wants to be in my closet.
Ever since I was little, I’ve loved the color blue – this blue vintage celluloid set is everything!
Anyone who knows me knows my love for coffee is deep and everlasting. This necklace might be the perfect way to show our bond.
I absolutely love these Swarovski bracelets – they come in so many beautiful colors and can be worn as a bracelet or a choker.
Just Because
Can you think of a more perfect brooch for Valentine’s Day?
As a general rule, my cat hates everything I spend money on (and prefers things like Christmas bows or twisty ties). But, I absolutely love this cat bed! Maybe I can convince him it was free…
Ahhhh birthday and holidays are just the BEST. I always get so excited when there are upcoming excuses to get dressed up. Mr Dressed and I always find new ways to celebrate each year (once he even took me on a hot air balloon ride!), but the festivities always involve a lovely dinner out where I have to be careful about knocking things off other patrons’ tables in my endlessly poofy crinolines. That’s just me.
So, though plans aren’t set just yet, I’d better make some decisions on what to wear. Any favorites??
xoxo
