With Easter nearly upon us, I can’t help but swoon over all of the pastel, floral, and frothy confections floating around the net. Though most will find me crazy, I don’t crave chocolate and am not particularly excited about the sweet-tooth side of the holidays (a few chocolate eggs and I’m happy). But the confections that I can wear? THAT is just eggs-cellent….
Nhanks to the loveliest of family and friends, quite a few items from my birthday wishlist made it to my front door and straight into my closet! On the heels of those spoils, this Lust List is just a casual compilation of things that have caught my eye (and my fancy). Maybe one or two will catch yours?
For My Castle
I’m always on the lookout for creative ways to hang things around the house – a series of hooks that are woodland creatures? Yes please!
Despite my efforts to stay organized, my jewelry can end up bundled on every surface in the house. As an organizational solution, how cute it this easter yellow jewelry dish?
Though we don’t own our own home yet, I dream of the day when I can play with paint colors and light fixtures to my hearts content! This minty globe is perfect.
I can’t think of anything cuter for easter than a bunnies in a carrot purse!
For My Closet
I missed out on a golden-toned version of this Gigi Young dress from a local seller – do I take the plunge and scoop up the blue?
I love the peach stripes on this 1950’s dress, but it’s the embroidery on the pockets that really get me…
I love the damask toile print on this cute day dress – with some pops of red accessories, it would be splendid!
For those of us moving into autumn instead of spring, how uniquely stunning is this dress??
Come cute white pedal pushers, oversized sunglasses and this top, and I’m ready for the last sighing strains of summer.
I love a beautiful scenic border print dress, and this one is so colorful and eye-catching!
Did someone say Valentino????
The citrus stripes on this 1950’s dress are like a fiery sunburst!
Nothing says “Spring is coming” like a floral Horrockes dress…
As usual, Bernie Dexter’s prints have me swooning. This latest dress will be mine. One day soon… (and I would style it with these shoes)
Nothing says easter weekend like a vintage pink floral print…
For South of My Ankles
I simply can’t resit a cute mustard heel….
My collection of Melissa’s is steadily growing. I love these cute flats. If you haven’t tried these yet, put them on you Must List.
For Some Arm Candy
WAY out of my price range, but how stunning is this purse??
A gal can never have too many strawberry bags – and this one is such a good price!
I just love the embellishments on the front of this bag – beads, and sequins, and raffia, oh my!
For Some Frosting
I will buy ALL the brooches! Starting with this celluloid daisy beauty…
As a general rule, I’m not usually drawn to hats. But one with leaves and strawberries? Yes please!
I’ve becoming more and more obsessed with shoe clips – they provide endless creative shoe opportunities. These hummingbirds may need to be my next acquisition…
The colors on this hydrangea hair comb are just dreamy…
Because there is no rest for the weary (and I apparently can’t get enough of airplane food and chatty seat mates), I’m actually off on yet another trip overseas! I leave on Monday and have a busy weekend of prepping and packing ahead. As usual, though I will try to check in to the blog, it’ll be a bit quiet here for a few days. But, if my last trip is any indication, I’m sure to pick up a vintage goodie (or three).
In the meantime, let me know if you end up scooping up any of the beauties listed here. If I can’t have all of the things, at least it can stay in the family.
Happy Easter!
xoxo
