Bula! As many of you know if you follow my Instagram, the Mr. and I are currently lounging on a beach in Fiji (you have full permission to hate us). I’ve been SO excited for this trip – firstly, because I get to watch one of my very best friends get married and secondly, because hello FIJI! So, in the months and weeks leading up to the trip, there’s been the obligatory planning and booking and list-making. Aaaaaand a bit of online browsing for beach-related essentials, which morphed into beach-related non-essentials, which then just became LOOK AT ALL OF THE PRETTY THINGS!!! (I’m nothing if not reliable).
So before we left, I had just enough time to put together a new Lust List! (If you’re feeling particularly lustful, you can also check out last month’s list here). It’s so hard to resist shopping right before a trip, but I try to exert and iron will because I want to leave room in the budget for a few amazing pieces from abroad…
Without further adieu, here’s a round up of the latest things I’m lusting after…
For the Home
Given my latest foray into 3D printing for work, there’s something just so captivating about this vase…
Not sure how stable these mugs would be, but I love love love the forest effect.
As it is now, Finn loves to jump into my suitcases whenever I’m backing. With this cat bed, I’m just preempting his particular brand of cat crazy.
Imagine getting soup in this heart-shaped bowl when you’re sick? It would definitely help me feel better much more quickly…
There’s something so so charming about this little perfect house on a hill butter dish. Just think of the view…
You guys know my fruit obsession. It’s no secret. This apple jam jar is adorable (come to think of it, so is the one for grape and strawberry jam!)
For the Closet
Ahhh a gal can never have enough stunning vintage chiffon party dresses (and she’s on sale for Labor Day weekend!).
Wearing this dress would be like twirling amongst the sparkliest snowflakes. As we don’t get snow in Perth, maybe this dress could be my consolation prize?
I’ve been searching for some time for the perfect red wool nurse’s cape. This one is everything and then some.
I don’t have words for this novelty printed dress – damsels in distress, knights in shining armor. I’d ride of into the sunset with this beauty any day.
Ohhh the print on this skirt! Divine… and with these cute yellow heels?
I love anything with a unique collar, and this blouse takes the take. I can completely picture it with the perfect pencil skirt and these heels.
This dress is a border-print impressionist dream…
How has this pineapple print Kamehameha dress not sold yet? It was so hard modeling the vintage and not take it all home!
Border print? Velvet flocking? Yes please to this dress! It would look amazing with a cute pop color shoe…
I have fought every ounce of willpower to resist this dress… The colors and the print placement are just divine.
Sweet and sassy and everything in between. Oh pretty pink floral skirt & top set, do you want to come home with me?
Who can resist polka dots combined with a Gigi Young label?? Not this gal.
The detail on this hand-painted skirt is stunning, and in such a rare curvy size too.
Just a little slice of drop-waisted vintage heaven (or her twin in a different colorway here).
Outside my budget and well inside my ribcage measurements, but ohh how I love this dress…
For South of My Ankles
I absolutely love these Melissa flats – perfect rain or shine!
To me, a navy heel is the perfect neutral…
For Some Arm Candy
Ohhh how I love a good box bag. And the color blocking on this one is amazing.
The textural detail on this felted clutch is so lovely. I just love handbags with 3D elements.
Calling all Dr. Who fans, I think I just met your perfect bag.
I know it’s technically a vintage jewelry box, but I would totally use this as an adorable handbag.
Just the cutest novelty basket bag ever, and that red resin handle…
Can this insanely amazing embossed croc bag get any more amazing?? Answer: No.
To Keep My Heart Happy
For those days when you need a bit of extra love, this necklace would be just the ticket.
Such a beautiful unique necklace, and will keep the cherry blossoms blooming year round!
Though there are a lot of printed handkerchiefs out there, I love how the spray of violets takes over the edge of this beauty.
And wouldn’t that handkerchief just go perfectly with this stunning lilac floral headpiece?
How clever and dramatic is the eclipse effect of this necklace?
I’ve got several Luxulite brooches now, but there’s something about the blue and red combo of this one that tells me I may need another one…
I’ve been in the market for some new sunglasses, and the collection at Beleza Vintage has me swooning – those brown round specs in particular!
There’s something so beautifully melancholy about this dandelion ring. Like it’s capturing a wish in time.
Sigh. There are just too many lovely things in the world. Speaking of lovely – I hope you’re all having an amazing week! Things are going to be a bit quieter around the blog than usual, as we have important tasks to be attending to, including sipping piña coladas, swimming with mantas, and getting all loved up on wedded bliss. So for now I leave you with more than a few pretty things that may have jumped from my wishlist onto yours – it’s the perfect time to take advantage of all of those Labor Day sales!
As usual, please let me know if you scoop any of these beauties up! If I can’t have them all, I like to know they went to good homes.
xoxo
