As you guys have all heard by now, there are some big changes heading our way! With the difficult task of fitting all of our lives in a shipping container and embarking on our next overseas adventure, I turned a critical eye to my wardrobe and am letting go of things I no longer wear.
It’s never easy, but overseas moves have a way of forcing me to feng shui my closet and helping some beautiful pieces find their new forever home. If you missed my first sale, you can see the items that are still available here (and I just did a price reduction!). I’m only listing newly purged items in this post, but feel free to purchase from either. To break things down:
The Rules
Shop rules are as follows:
- All sales occurring only on photos posted to Instagram (click on images below to go to the post). My full set of available listings can be found here: ShopDressedappsCloset.
- All prices in USD, not including shipping, which will depend on your location. I will ship worldwide from Perth, Western Australia, but serious buyers only please! Scroll to the end of post for shipping estimates.
- Leave comment SOLD and Paypal email on Instagram photo to claim. Next person to comment “SOLD” will be second in line if the first sale falls through (and so forth). I’m sorry, but I cannot offer layaway or item holds.
- Invoices will be sent each evening and payment must be received within 24 hours or item goes to the next person in line. Items will be shipped every Friday.

For each item, I offer a brief description and note any flaws. True vintage and vintage-inspired/repro is clearly marked below (but ask if unsure!). I also provide standard measurements, which were taken while the garment was lying flat and then doubled. Be sure to leave room for your personal fit and comfort. Some items may be pinned to the mannequin and any accessories (including crinoline) are for inspiration only and not included in the sale unless stated in the description.

If the button reads “Coming Soon!” it means it will be posted later today. If the button reads “Sold”, some lucky lady has already scooped her up. True Vintage
Description: Absolutely stunning vintage 1950s fit and flared silky satin teal party dress. This beauty has a unique sculptural double panel crumbcatcher bodice. The fitted first layer hugs the body with an added straight squared off over layer. Bodice is lined with pellon to hold its shape and achieve a perfect nipped waist silhouette. Thin shoulders straps, wasp waist with attached self belt ties at sides of waistline to really cinch you in. She zips up the back with a metal zipper – note zipper is in full working order, just would not fully zip on my dress form. Fabric is a soft, heavy, silky satin fabric (feels like silk or rayon satin), with a full skirt that is pleated in back. A true stunner – if she fit me in the bust, I wouldn’t be letting her go! $128 + shipping
Condition: Very good to excellent. No underarm staining, rips or tears. The only flaws I could find were a small spot noted on right shoulder strap (see pic). I have not tried to spot clean, so it may lift. There is a very minor tear of the pellon inside – does not show when worn and does not affect wear (so minor but I like to mention everything).

Description: I can’t believe I’m letting this one go – quick before I change my mind! This is essentially two dresses in one. On a wow scale of 1 to 10, this dress is definitely an 11. Vibrant sheer red dress with polka dots of varying sizes with a matching satin faille slip – the slip could be worn as its own dress (and the overlayer could too if you’re feeling daring)! Slip itself is unlined and edges are pinked. A showshopper as an evening dress or pair the slip with some nude accessories for a day dress! Absolutely stunning, just too tight in the bust on me and it would break my heart to take her apart the way I’d need to make her fit. I hope someone here can give her a home where she can be worn and loved. $168 + shipping
Condition: Overall in excellent condition – color is still bright and vibrant. I found two small holes and a few pulls in the fabric of the overdress (see photo of flaws in the comments), but none are tears. There is also some very minor darkening of fabric at bottom hem- only noticeable upon close inspection. Considering how sheer and light the fabric of the overdress is, this has held up amazingly well.

Description: Amazing vintage 1950’s dress in a black velvet bodice and quilted skirt with full lining. Features a short sleeved bodice, full pleated skirt with pockets (!) and a stunning quieted pattern. Also comes with its matching open-front velvet jacket with decorative collar and inner lining. Finding a matching set it so rare. A bit too big in the waist on me, but so luxurious and perfect heading into colder months! $139 + shipping
Condition: Great vintage condition – small blemish within the pleats (unnoticeable unless pulled apart). Also the darts at the back of the bodice have been let out by the previous owner – they can be sewn in to create a smaller waist.

Description: Adorable 1950’s light blue cotton dress with ruffle collar. This cutie features a sleeveless bodice, fitted bodice with a slightly dropped waist with heavy pleating and a full skirt. The collar has tiered ruffles and there are decorative buttons down the front center bodice, with a zipper closure down the back center. I originally purchased her from Adored Vintage (some photos from that listing), but she was too tight in the bust on me and hasn’t been worn. Probably best for a B/C cup and someone shorter-waisted. Sweeter than apple pie and needs a good home. $88 + shipping
Condition: Very good – A bit of discolor under the arms and a few scattered age spots (see photos of the worst of them). I haven’t soaked this dress, so it’s possible they will lift. I don’t feel they detract from the dress and she has a lot of wear left in her! Priced accordingly.

Description: Amazing vintage-inspired watercolor floral dress, purchased from Unique Vintage several years ago. An absolutely stunning dress with a shelf bust, back zip, button front details, fitted waist and full flouncy skirt. The print is an amazing border print of teal, purple, and yellow flowers and the edges are all piped. This fits me in the bust, but is too large in the waist and has sat in my sewing pile for ages. Description: Amazing vintage inspired dress from brand Limb. I’m so in love with the colorful print, which is of satirical comic squares blocked off with white borders. Has a V-neck front and is 100% cotton, lined at bust, with a hidden back zipper. I loved the print so much I bought the only size available with the intention of tailoring her, but never got around to it. Comes with matching belt, which is adjustable and ranges from 26 to 32.5 inches. $59 + shipping.
