Happy Day After Turkey Day! Mr Dressed and I had an amazing Friendsgiving and are now spending our friday being completely lazy and eating my favorite form of Thanksgiving leftovers: take some of those Pillsbury crescent rolls – put turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce into each one and bake. Dip in gravy. Repeat (you’re welcome).
Despite my well-earned sloth, I didn’t want to stray from what has become a tradition here on the blog. A few years back, I started an annual post where I shared the Black Friday Deals I had scoped from around various websites and social media, which many have told me they have come to rely on. Supporting local shops and giving our patronage to independently owned vintage retailers is putting our money towards a person and a face instead of a corporation. True, avoiding big box stores is nearly impossible (and I still do it, cause needs must). But, even buying one gift this year from a small business can make a world of difference.
