Favorites: Goodbye July

Ohhh I love a good outfit recap! Somehow looking back on these photos, it feels like I wore them a hundred years ago instead of just at the start of the month. I think a large part of that was due to our trip to New Zealand mid-July, which was like being transported to another world. What is it about traveling that always seems to feel as though it happened ages ago and just yesterday all at once?

In a fond farewell to July, here’s a review of some of my absolute favorite looks from the past month. It seems that I really went for it when it came to unique prints and embroidery. And truthfully, I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I definitely have another busy month looming. In about a week I fly off to Cairns for a conference symposium that I helped to organize (I’d better start writing my presentation…Eep!), and then it’s back to the lab for some serious time at the bench to finalize a few datasets that I can finally write up and submit for publication.

I also have some incredibly exciting things coming up on the blog for August, including some clothing reviews and a CRAZY-amazing DIY from a fabulous blogger friend of mine. All will be revealed soon – Stay tuned…
