Well, it’s official. The turkey has been cooked and the thanks have been said – in my world that means it’s officially Christmas! And the minute the calendar shifts, all of the Christmas pretties start dancing in front of my eyes and hence, my Christmas Wishlist is born.
Life has been especially busy of late – the hurricane coupled with the move to our new home, and the stress that the holidays provide, I love nothing more than curling up with a hot cup of cocoa and browsing my favorite vintage and vintage-inspired shops. There is just something extra sparkly about making a Christmas Wish list than a wishlist at any old time of year. And who knows, maybe this year’s is imbued with a bit of extra Christmas magic….
To Deck the Halls
I just adore unique jewelry, and I can think of no better piece to deck my neck than this lotus flower necklace.
Way out of my price range, but maybe if Santa ups his budget this year (and buys a bigger sleigh), these chairs might make it under the tree….?
The perfect necklace. Simply hangs suspended. Connected by merely happenstance.
These socks are like wearing a dream…
How amazing is this solar system necklace?? I seem to be all about the cosmos lately…
Such a sweet scalloped dish – I just love that it looks like lace. I may never actually lose jewelry with this around…
Umm..because BLING
All the Christmas yes’s to these socks…
I just love the simultaneous drama and simplicity of this necklace…
For a White Christmas
I’m not even here. I’m dead. Because this dress has killed me.
Is there anything better for Christmas than a strawberry bolero?
I love unique color schemes, and this pink and blue and orange vintage skirt rings my Christmas bells.
Chotronette is hands down one of my very favorite dress designers – this dress is as delicate as a flower, with a bit of mischief beneath her petals..
Ahh this dress is perfection and an explosion of color – exactly what I need to fight through the winter gloom.
The crisp in the air has me dreaming of swing coats. This navy beauty would fit right into my closet…
This tulle skirt has been on my wishlist for awhile. I just love the idea of clouds dipped in sky…
Is there a better sweater in the world than a fishy sweater??
You guys know my obsession with border prints. And this dress…
Cover Girl of Miami perfection…
To Tim the Tree
Ahhh I just love me ALL the basket bags…
Dear Santa, wouldn’t these be the perfect shoes to wear at the North Pole?? Size 40 Santa….
This amazing bag reminds me of a Christmas ornament – and I’m smitten…
It doesn’t get much better than multi-strap Mary Janes..
Ahhh those little cutouts on this bag stole my heart.
In my world, it’s not an outfit until you add a belt…
Because who says florals can’t be for winter?? This daisy purse might be just what I need to look forward to Spring…
Ahhh I just love dreaming about what might appear under my Christmas tree. When I was little, I almost couldn’t fall asleep the week before Christmas, I was so excited to see what Santa will bring. As we get older, the magic gets a bit lost in To Do lists and scheduling and getting to the post office within a certain timeframe. But every now and then, when I feel a familiar nip in the air and hear a far away jingle of sleigh bells, I realize that the magic is still there. You just have to look for it.
We are slowly getting back on track over here – finishing up the semester, trying to get through our mountains of unpacking, and preparing for our Christmas travels to the West Coast. And as the year draws to a close, I can’t help but think about all that’s come to pass this year, and all that is still yet to come. There’s just enough time left this year for a bit of extra sparkle…
What are you wishing for this year??
xoxo
