{Favorites} Arrivederci August

Another August has been and gone. I don’t know about you, but I sincerely feel like time is picking up speed as the years progresses. I blinked and this past month disappeared. And I don’t have a whole lot of recollection of exactly where it went.

Thankfully, I have this blog to remind me that August did in fact exist and I did manage to wear some lovely outfits (if I do say so myself – the dresses do most of the work!). And though time can often whiz by so fast that it gives me whiplash, I take comfort in knowing she’ll come around the mountain again next year. After all, arrivederci means ‘until we see each other again’ again in Italian. As someone who is not very fond of goodbyes, I much prefer to bid farewell with a See You Later attitude.

There are some pretty major happenings coming up in the next month or so. Although I hate dropping teasers (okay, I’m a big liar – I kind of love it), I’m going to have to keep you in suspense for the time being. But, watch this space because there is a whole lot of exciting, new, and downright terrifying things on the horizon.

Luckily, I have a whole lot of beautiful vintage to keep me grounded. I guess that’s the way to deal with most things – roll with the punches, but keep who you are at your core. It’s never about finding perfectly stable ground or never wobbling – it’s all about keeping your balance.
