Favorites: Come What May

I can hardly believe we’re saying a fond farewell to May today! As per usual, the month hit hyperdrive about mid way through and I’m left sputtering on the side of the road, wondering how the month blew past me so quickly without my permission. For me, the onset of June generally means: Conference Season. I have a lot of travel coming up, and since one of my favorite (nerdy) things to do is make Powerpoint presentations, I’m pretty excited for both. With one conference at the start of July and a second in August, there shall be much far flung traveling and Powerpoint making!

Looking back on May, there was some beautiful vintage that carried me through the month. As per usual, it was hard to narrow it down, but here’s a review of some of my absolute favorite May looks – which is your fav? (for full outfit details, feel free to check out the original post).

There’s always this arbitrary threshold of June – when you cross into it, you feel as though you can’t really say it’s the first half of the year anymore. For me, I always start to panic about all of the things I hoped to accomplish in the start of the year that I didn’t manage, the things that are left to do that I don’t know if I’ll have time for, and can almost start to see a straight shot to Christmas. But, then I take a deep breath and realize that we can only do our best (and maybe take the nudge of June to remind me to kick it up a notch).

So, farewell sweet May. It was lovely knowing you, but I have very important June-related things to be getting on with. Trips to plan, papers to write, shoes to buy. Very very busy indeed.

So, what do you guys have planned for June?

xoxo
